WOLFEBORO — Lake Winnipesaukee Day will be celebrated at the oldest summer resort in America at the Wolfeboro Town Docks on Friday, Aug. 8, 5-10 p.m.
It will highlight the importance of lake and land conservation and preservation. The event features an outdoor dance party culminating with a Laser Light Show. The M/S Mount Washington and dive boat will be docked at the town docks and will offer food and libations.
Participating environmental nonprofit organizations will include Wolfeboro Waters, Wentworth Watershed Association, Lake Winnipesaukee Association, Lakes Region Conservation Trust, and NH Lakes.
Dinner choices will include Dockside Grille and Dairy Bar, Wicked Loon, Local Topia, Marker 21, and Garwoods and Downtown Grille Cafe. At the docks other food options will include Peaks Food Truck, 603 Good Eatz BBQ Food Truck and mobile wood fired pizza oven, Hucks Hoagies, The Lively Lemon Fresh Lemonade, Hot Dog Bob, The Lions Club Burgers and Sausages, and Seacoast Pretzel Company.
