PLYMOUTH — The Pemigewasset Valley Chapter of the NH Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented a Community Service Award to Kendall B. Hughes at the Ashland Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration on July 3.

Hughes is committed to the three main mission areas supported by DAR: Patriotism, Education, and Historical Preservation. Hughes’ achievements in community service projects through various organizations include, but are not limited to, the Ashland Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration, Christmas Night in Ashland, Ashland Area Recreation Association, American Legion, Ashland Historical Society, Fireman’s Association, Ashland town government, and more.
