The Panther Gridiron Club, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Plymouth State University’s football program, recently accepted a check for nearly $13,000 from Revo Casino and Social House’s Rebels with a Cause charitable program. Former Plymouth State football player Matt Jozokos and former coach Mike Currier accepted the check on behalf of the Panther Gridiron Club board in late August. “We are grateful to everyone who came out and supported us during our charitable gaming dates,” said Jozokos. “This money will directly support our mission to enhance the student-athlete experience at Plymouth State University and help their football program thrive.” Founded by a diverse group of former Plymouth State University football players and coaches, the Panther Gridiron Club focuses on closing funding gaps in the Plymouth State Football program and boosting alumni engagement. “Plymouth State Football has changed our lives,” said Jozokos, referring to the entire Panther Gridiron Club Board. “It made us the workers, leaders, and engaged community members we are today…We love supporting the great work the University is already doing and look forward to an even brighter future together.” To learn more about the Panther Gridiron Club, or support its mission, visit panthergridironclub.org.
