William J. Prescott, 62

MOULTONBOROUGH — William Joseph Prescott, 62, of Holland Street, passed away on Sept. 14, 2026.

William was born on Jan. 11, 1964, in Laconia, the son of the late Donald Prescott and Nerada (née Laramie) Prescott.

He worked most recently at Sparkle Clean and many years at Titeflex Aerospace. He was a man who found happiness in the simple things in life — time spent with family, being outdoors, and working with his hands. William was a master hunter and could often be found cheering on the New England Patriots or watching wrestling. He took great pride in his garden and enjoyed seeing the results of the time and care he put into it. William was a talented craftsman, he had a natural ability to build, create, and fix things with his hands. He took pride in his work and enjoyed seeing a project come together from start to finish.

He valued his family and the time they spent together. Those everyday moments — whether around the grill, working on a project, watching a game, or simply enjoying each other’s company — were the moments that meant the most to him.

William is survived by his son Eric Prescott; daughter Ashley Prescott (Branden Tompkins); sisters Bobbi Prescott (Dan) and Jennifer Dion (Mario); brother Michael Prescott (Mary-Ellen); grandchildren Brayden LeBreche, Elijah Tompkins, and one on the way; and nephews Ben Pregent and Dalton Dion, who had an unbreakable bond. In addition to his parents, William is predeceased by his grandparents, Dorothy and Cleaveth Prescott and Armand J. and Phylis Laramie.

Services are being planned and details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements are complete.
