James Edward Devlin, age 83, of Sanbornton, passed away on Sept. 22, 2026.
He was born on Aug. 5, 1943, in Exeter, the son of Pearl and Edward Devlin of Windham.
James was well-known as a builder, wood carver, and his many adventures on his motorcycles with his friends and sons.
James was predeceased by his longtime partner Donna St. Onge, and his brother Andrew Devlin of Derry.
He is survived by his sons, James Devlin of Chester, Ryan Devlin of Manchester, and Brendan Devlin of Manchester. In addition, he leaves behind his siblings, Pearl Devlin of West Palm Beach, Florida, Robert Devlin of Windham, and Mary Devlin of Windham.
Jim's friends in the Sanbornton area were also like his family and provided great care and conversations in his last years.
A private family memorial will be held this fall.
