KERR COUNTY, Texas -- While rescue efforts are on-going for the devastating floods that hit central Texas, pro teams in the state are stepping up to help out.

The Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, and the NFL Foundation are combining resources to donate 1.5 million dollars for relief and long-term recovery efforts.

Each club will donate $500,000 with the NFL Foundation matching their contribution.

The San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks and others have also offered messages of support for first responders and families affected by the flooding.
