MEREDITH — Two recent projects of Christopher P. Williams Architects were honored at NH Home Magazine’s prestigious Design Awards on April 16. Little Green was honored for Excellence in Historic Renovation, while The Enchanted Cottage was named Home of the Year. Both projects were designed by Matthew J. Daughdrill.

Now in its 42nd year, Christopher P. Williams Architects balances tradition and innovation in designing distinctive homes grounded in sustainability, performance, and lasting design. The firm’s approach brings together high-performance building systems with New Hampshire’s historic vernacular, creating homes that are both efficient and deeply connected to a sense of place.

A well-designed home does more than occupy a site. It shapes daily life, reflects what matters most, and endures over time. Christopher P. Williams Architects works with clients building new homes, renovating existing structures, or reimagining properties for contemporary living. The firm provides guidance from initial concept through construction, helping ensure a clear process and a result that reflects each client’s vision. Each project begins with a collaborative process centered on a conversation on how clients live, how spaces should function, and how a home should evolve over time. The result is architecture that feels grounded and cohesive, where regional character, craftsmanship, and modern technology come together in a meaningful way.
