This "October Canopy" painting will be the subject of a Paint & Sip hosted by Lakes Region Art Association on Friday, Oct. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lakes Region Art Gallery in the Tanger Outlets in Tilton. Juried artist Susie French will lead guests through an 11x14-inch painting of an autumn canopy seen from the forest floor — dark trunks rising toward a blue sky, with red, orange, and gold leaves.
