Steve Earle: Current administration has done nothing to make the lives of regular Americans better

Kings, tyrants and dictators have a long history of serving themselves and the elites who keep them in power but care little for the people they rule seeing them only as those to serve and those who are expendable. Our nation was created by the people who rejected the rule of those unjust kings seeking only wealth and power. For more then two centuries our constitution gave hope to poor from all over the world seeking a new and hoped for better life and largely fulfilled those hopes. But here early in a new century the old selfish elites again seeking only power and money are rising into the same old do as we say not as we do privileged class. They distort truth, spread lies, and tell the people "it's for their own good", they know best, they are better in every way than those who elevated 13 colonies of farmers and workers into the richest most powerful nation on the planet. This is the nation who rejected and fought against slavery and championed the recognition that such a thing as human rights existed for all people everywhere. Our founders endowed our constitution with a bill of rights, rights God-given, declaring to the world that all men are created equal and created a government made up of and from the people to serve the people. But the new elite, falling back into the ages old class distinctions demand we nether speak critically or think critically nor demand those elected follow our laws and constitution but follow their self-serving mandates which distort reason and injure our nation and people.

Has our current administration done anything meaningful to make the lives of regular Americans better or safer? Our economy is bad, crime of every description is skyrocketing, drug addiction and deaths are rampant, shortages of all kinds have become the norm and those in power refuse to accept historical or medical facts as realities but invent absurdities in their place. When they seek to deny us our rights how dare they demand we obey the edicts and mandates? To do so will only bring ruin, chaos and enslave even those who support the insanities of the woke mob's distortions. Those currently in power bowing to the loudest and vilest must be removed from power for sanity and justice to again lift this nation from the sewer of corruption they have sent us into.
