BELMONT — Peter S. Guyer, 69, of Union Road, passed away on July 23, 2026, at Granite VNA Hospice House, in Concord.
Peter was born on March 20, 1957, in Laconia, the son of Robert Guyer and Frances (Martel) Guyer.
Peter was the owner of GBL Construction. He will be remembered for a life built on hard work, kindness, and a passion for the simple joys that brought family and friends together. Whether repairing small engines in the garage, riding the open roads on a motorcycle, or exploring snowy trails on a snowmobile, he found happiness in working with his hands and embracing the outdoors.
He was an avid deep-sea fisherman and treasured every opportunity to be on the water, enjoying both the adventure and the peace that came with it. He also took great pride in maintaining a beautiful yard, finding satisfaction in every freshly mowed lawn, blooming flowerbed, and perfectly trimmed hedge. On sunny days, he could often be found on the golf course, enjoying the game and the camaraderie it brought.
Peter’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, teaching them how to fix things, enjoying outdoor adventures, or simply making them laugh, those moments were among his most treasured. The love he had for family was evident in everything he did, and the memories created together will be cherished forever.
Peter is survived by his wife Michele R. (Shorey) Guyer; daughters Megan Bickford and her husband Nathan of Northfield, Melinda Bozek and her husband Jeffrey of Venice, Florida, and Sara-Jo Demmons and her husband Zachary of Port St. Lucie, Florida; mother Frances (Martel) Guyer; brothers James Guyer and his wife Cindi of North Conway, and Robert Guyer and his wife Tammy of Moultonborough; sister Kathy Koji and her husband Steve of Sacramento, California; five grandchildren, Isabella Bozek, Michael Demmons, Charlotte Bickford, Colton Demmons and Theodore Bickford; and two nieces and six nephews. Peter is predeceased by his father, Robert Guyer.
