To The Daily Sun,

A quick "gut check" on the COVID-19 evolving narrative. For readers who are tired of the so-called coronavirus narrative and resulting infringement on pretty much every aspect of their lives, and the inherent vulnerability as humans to being hoodwinked by, well, lies, I offer a critique example from our favorite local propaganda publication — The Laconia Daily Sun.

Before I go there, I'd like to mention an earlier lie that the mainstream media, including the aforementioned, newspaper propagated on us way back in the early days of the COVID narrative. Remember when we were all told "14 days to flatten the curve." This is important, because, in healthy human social interaction it's kind of important to be as genuine as possible in order to foster truth and trust in relationships. However, as we all can attest to, sometimes people make mistakes in the course of trying to be honest and trustworthy. Fortunately there are simple remedies to our not being perfect in this area. Apology and making amends can often suffice. I was struck by the absence of this simple remedy from any media source I'm familiar with as the original "14 days to flatten the curve" came and went.

Additionally, consider how much disruption in our lives have come to pass since that early period. Now, it seems that a day or to devoted to apologizing for such a blatant and serious oversight as this was would have been in order, simple and respectful.

Again, one more example which many readers will recount if you were an adult in the early 2000s, was "weapons of mass destruction in Iraq." I particularly like using this example because it is today almost universally accepted that this assertion was, quite frankly a lie, perpetrated for several months, by most of government and certainly all the main stream media. If memory serves me, we didn't get any sort of apology for that lie.

Fast forward now to the article in The Laconia Daily Sun from Thursday, Sept. 10, titled "Vaccine by Nov. 3? Halted study explains how unlikely that would be." A reminder to readers first, on how deceptive narratives can be and how they really do have a sort of "bouncing ball" hypnotic element to them. The article clearly implies the drug company AstraZeneca, the National Institute of Health and others are very concerned about the safety of the run up to develop a vaccine for COVID-19. The article appears to be assuring us there will be "no compromises" on safety in the race to develop a shot...

The article fails to state how all of the vaccine candidates thus far have indeed compromised on safety in a very fundamental manner. None have done animal studies. This has always been a hallmark safety standard.
