Kenneth Bowers: New Hampshire towns are going to pay the price for migrants at southern border

The southern border is basically wide open with as many as 8,000 illegal immigrants entering the country each day. Recently, buses in caravans are dropping illegal immigrants off on the Mexican side of the border. This is now a free-for-all condoned by the Biden administration. Nine hundred million dollars is being paid out by the administration to non-government agencies to keep everything going, which is your money.

Prior to the recent election, Sen. Maggie Hassan was on television voicing her concern for the border. Since that time she is silent, which should not be a surprise because the election is over and her real allegiance is to the Democratic Party, plain and simple. Sen. Hassan has the opportunity to be the deciding vote in the split Senate. She could make the difference when it comes to this situation at the border that was closed a few years ago.

Things are out of control and mill towns throughout the country such as Lawrence and Manchester are going to pay the price.

Gee Mr. Bowers what are you worrying about. there is no one to staff any of our service or hospitality positions in the state. Why turndown productive people who clearly want to improve themselves and contribute to the economy. they may cost a few bucks to start them off, but you really have no other investment you can make to upgrade the labor force. Migration from urban states has just increased houseing costs. It's economic sense. and although it is somewhat exploitive to take advantage of refugees; it looks to be mutually beneficial to the state's economy and the refugees alike. Perhaps there is some non-economic reason you have not articulated.
