To The Daily Sun,

I am pleased to announce my candidacy for state representative for Meredith. I am running because I care deeply about our Meredith community and believe my background, experience and perspective will make a positive difference in Concord.

As a transactional attorney, I spent my career negotiating difficult matters, working through complex issues, and finding common ground in challenging situations. I worked with small business owners and multinational corporations and saw firsthand many of the obstacles facing both employers and employees. After retiring from legal practice, I returned to my alma mater, the University of New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce School of Law, where I am now an adjunct professor.

Community service has always been central to my life. I have served on numerous national and local boards, including as a school board chair for a STEM high school and on the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee for one of the largest school districts in the country. Today, I am a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Meredith Program and co-chair its Economic Development Committee, Career Partnerships Committee and Volunteer Task Force.

We have many challenges in our great state and solutions require that we are creative and innovative. Having built my career navigating complex issues, I look forward to addressing the critical matters facing our state while always keeping Meredith’s best interests at the forefront.

Please contact me at Rockafellow4NH@gmail.com or find me on Facebook at Rockafellow4NH if residents would like to learn about my viewpoints, perspectives and ideas.
