Terri Lynne Cook (née Walker), 65, of Danbury, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2026.

She was born on May 12, 1961, in Franklin, to Donna Wiggin (née Miller) and Daniel Walker.

Terri lived with her loving husband, Kevin Cook, in their newly-built house with the beautiful view of the mountains they called home.

She was a true beauty inside and out. Her golden thick locks and award-winning smile were the envy of many.

Terri created art out of everything she touched. She could always concoct magic from the simplest of items, whether it was from her garden, fabric, glass, wood, paint or anything. She was a true artisan.

Those who knew her at work, whether coworkers or residents, regarded her as family, as she considered them the same.

Terri was an affectionate woman that greeted all with love, especially if you were a furry, four-pawed friend.

Born the eldest daughter and oldest sister, Terri then became her most proud roles as Mom and Nannie.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Cook; her daughter, Tiana (Tiki) Walker; her sons, Christopher Huntoon and Cameron Huntoon; her grandchildren, Trever Lima, Gracelyn Huntoon, Trey Lima, Dayvanee Huntoon, Taylor Huntoon, Finnigan Huntoon and Taylin Walker. She also leaves her stepsons, Casey Cook and Nate Cook; her stepdaughter, Courtney Cook; and her grandchildren, Edward, Eva, Wesley and Amelia. Terri is also survived by her father, Daniel Walker; her four siblings, Traci Jewell, Trisha Simpson (Rob Simpson), Tina Walker (Craig Sherman) and Johnathan Wiggin (Casey Wiggin); and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

Terri is predeceased by her mother, Donna.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, July 10, at Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main St., New London.

A gathering will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the Danbury Community Center in Danbury, to celebrate Terri’s life. All are welcome.
