The lights at the Charles G. Burrows Memorial Athletic Field at Inter-Lakes Middle High School have been installed, and on July 8, Grandparents Club Chair Bruce Jones and his 12-year-old son, Zach Jones, stopped by to snap a photo as the sun set on the field. Zach is starting seventh grade at Inter-Lakes Middle High School in August, and has been excited about the project, evident when he ran and gave his dad a big hug when voters approved the $359,000 project on March 4, at the annual district meeting. Zach is starting middle school football summer conditioning July 20, and he and his family are excited for the prospect of a night game under the lights. The lights were delivered on June 18, by Musco Sports Lighting, and installation was done by Systems Electrical Services. An opening ceremony is expected to take place between the soccer and football games on Friday, Sept. 11.Â
