FRANKLIN — Armand J. Masse, 84, passed away at his home surrounded by his family.
Armand was a lifelong resident of Franklin. He was born on Jan. 31, 1942, and was the son of the late Armand E. Masse and Mary Ann (Martel) Masse. Armand attended school in Franklin. He worked at the Steven’s Mills as a maintenance man in Franklin, going on to work for Stanley Gile of Gile Wiring Company in Franklin. In 1971, he went into business for himself. Armand and his wife Sondra went on to run Masse Electrical Contractors for over 40 years, retiring in 2005.
Armand and Sondra were married for over 60 years. One of Armand’s greatest enjoyments was spending time with his family, especially with his granddaughter, Tabitha, and great-grandson, Dawson Gerry.
Armand was preceded in death by his wife Sondra, his son Dennis, and brothers Robert, Paul and John Masse. Armand leaves behind a daughter, Debra Bedard, and son-in-law Scott Bedard of Franklin; granddaughter, Tabitha Gerry and her husband Tim Gerry, and great-grandson Dawson Gerry of Meredith; nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Monday, July 27, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1 Carr St.
