LACONIA — The Belknap Mill is forming a new spinners group that will meet weekly on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Belknap Mill Museum, beginning Tuesday, May 6.

This group will be facilitated by Mill volunteer Joyce Keyser, a production spinner with years of experience and a passion for sharing the art of spinning. The gathering is open to all — from seasoned spinners to beginners, and even those who simply enjoy working with fiber in other ways.

"We are excited to offer a space where people can come together to create, connect, and learn from one another," said Associate Director Jill Desruisseaux. "Whether you’re spinning yarn, needle felting, knitting, or crocheting, this group is about community and creativity."

Participants are encouraged to bring their spinning wheels, spindles, and fiber projects. Those new to the craft are welcome to come observe, ask questions, and learn in a relaxed, supportive environment. For more information, visit belknapmill.org.
