PLYMOUTH ― Speare Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that surgeon Dr. Henry Ferland has joined Plymouth General Surgery, bringing nearly a decade of surgical experience to central New Hampshire.
“Speare and Plymouth General Surgery stood out to me because of the strong sense of community and the thoughtful, patient-centered culture here,” said Dr. Ferland. “My family and I are excited to put down roots in the Plymouth area. After earning his medical degree from the University of New England, Dr. Ferland completed his internship and residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston. He is happy to return to New England after several years in Georgia, where he served as chief of staff at a hospital.
Dr. Ferland takes a relationship-driven, collaborative approach to patient care.
“I enjoy helping patients understand their options and feel confident in the plan we build together,” he said.
