BRISTOL—The Pasquaney Garden Club will hold its annual Plant Sale on Saturday, June 6.
The plants for sale are primarily perennials dug from local gardens of members as well as plantings from the Butterfly Garden. As in past years, the variety of plants will include some of the time tested favorites hardy to our area and some more unusual but proven successful with local gardeners. There will be some annuals and an “Odds and Ends” table with garden books, vases, pots, etc.
The sale will last from from 9 a.m. to noon behind the Minot-Sleeper Library. Come at 9 a.m. to get the best selection before they sell out. A raffle will be held for a raised metal planter(20 x 40”). Tickets are $1 or $5 for 8.
Master gardeners and other club members will be available to answer questions and discuss plant choices for different garden conditions. Volunteers and plant donations are welcome. Plant donations may be brought to the sale Saturday, June 6, from 8-9 a.m.
The Annual Plant Sale is the primary fundraiser for the club to hold programs and maintain the Butterfly Garden. The Club is happy to have the opportunity to offer their locally grown plants in return for the generous community support.
The next gardening days at the Butterfly Garden are May 27, 9-11 a.m. to divide and pot plants for the sale and June 9, 9-11 a.m. for maintenance of the garden. Club members and volunteers will also participate in planting many of the public planters and small garden areas during the last week in May.
The Plant Sale is held rain or shine. For more information, contact carpenb3@gmail.com.
