MEREDITH —Friends of the Meredith Public Library will hold its annual book sale Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 25-27.

It will be held from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The sale will include books along with CDs and puzzles. There will be a children’s book nook; additional parking at the back of the library and first-time members will receive a customized book bag.

The mission of the Friends of the Meredith Library is to promote library involvement in the community and community involvement in the library.  Proceeds from our three annual book sales benefit our patrons in many ways.  They provide funds for children and adult reading programs, passes to the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, Castle in the Clouds, various museums, the after school  and summer reading programs.
