LACONIA — Volunteers are seeking donations of perennial plant divisions from gardens for the community flower garden outside of the Belknap County Complex, 34 County Dr.
The goal is to create a vibrant and welcoming space for those who live and work at the complex, as well as visitors and passersby. The garden receives plenty of sun and will be maintained.
They are especially looking for colorful perennials such as daylilies, coneflowers, black-eyed Susans, or any other varieties people may be thinning out from their gardens.
Contributions can be brought to the county complex Saturday or Sunday, June 7 or 8, between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Any extra plants will go to a local nursing home.
