MEREDITH — Rev. Scott Jamieson will lead the Sunday, July 16 service at the Union Church of Meredith Neck, preaching a sermon titled “There's No Way Around.” Music for the service will be provided by John Irish.
In November 2019, Rev. Jamieson and his wife, Linda, moved to the Lakes Region from Honduras and now live in Meredith. He is the part-time chaplain at the Belknap County jail and pastor at the Church of Another Chance, and he preaches frequently at the Congregational Churches in Meredith, Laconia, Sanbornton and others in central New Hampshire.
A variety of visiting clergy will lead subsequent services throughout July and August, including pastor Peter Lovett on July 23; Rev. John Hughes on July 30; Rev. Robert Thompson on Aug. 6; Rev. Ann Cady on Aug. 13; and Rev. Philip Polhemus on Aug. 20.
All are welcome for in-person worship at the church, located at 258 Meredith Neck Road, at 10 a.m. each Sunday through Aug. 20. More information and directions to the church are available at unionchurchmeredith.com.
