To The Daily Sun,
The Peabody Place residents are on the move to take a tour of the Concord Monitor Publishing building in Concord.
Carol, circulation director at the printing press for the Concord Monitor and 80 other news publications, was our tour guide. She answered our many questions and pointed out various machines and their uses in putting a newspaper together for the pubic to read. Thank you, Carol.
I wrote an editorial last week, hoping it would be printed in The Daily Sun. The purpose of the editorial was to thank two women who put in long hours and hard work to keep senior citizens of Peabody Place happy, busy and informed of this changing world.
Thank you, Nikki Parenteau, “our queen of the road” Peabody Place bus driver, and Karolyn McCaulley, the Peabody Place program director, who plan all these interesting outings.
