Steve Earle: Do liberals really want an end of the war or Kamala in the White House?

Laughing all the way to my keyboard. Letter here on recently asks is there any candidate who will stop the killing of Palestinians? No. Guess writer fails to comprehend no American president on down can simply order a stop to a foreign war. Besides Palestinian leaders do not want it stopped simple as that. Keeping in mind it was they who started this war and gullible American liberals find them the "victims" and hate Jews as result is all they ever wanted anyway, casualties be damned.

Fact is Donald Trump comes as close as one gets by promising not to send our dollars over there to either side. Isn't that ironic liberals hate him but support crazy Kamala Harris who sends millions over there keeping the war going. Remember it takes money to fight a war and lots of it. So what do liberals really want, an end of the war or Kamala in the White House? Their choice.

Now about the horrifying 2025 program. Heard the term, family issues prevented me from reading up. Thanks to a recent letter I now do. The writer is disturbed the plan is giving the president more power would "turn the U.S. into a horrifying conservative hellscape." Or in other words the right would do to the left what the left has been doing to the right since Barack Obama. Sounds refreshing to me that we little people won't be getting shafted by every Joe Biden illegal policy and crooked dealings. Well didn't they know "what goes around comes around?"
