To The Daily Sun,

"Live free or die." As a registered New Hampshire voter this is the battle cry of the citizens of NH. Does "live free" include freedom over one’s reproductive rights? Freedom to love who you want? Freedom to marry who you want?Freedom to read whatever you want? Freedom to be called what you want? Freedom to worship or not worship who you want? Freedom for children to talk about their two moms or two dads in grade school?

These freedoms and more are on the line in this year’s midterms. The NH Republican-controlled Legislature and governor have already taken away a 50-year precedent in the reversal of Roe v. Wade. What is next? This Nov. 8 when voters fill out their ballots they should think long and hard about what kind of world they want to live in. Think about what kind of world they want their children to live in. I am casting a vote for all the Democratic candidates who will preserve all of the above freedoms we must support for all people of this state.
