To The Daily Sun,

Commentators having been making much recently of President Donald Trump’s increasing tendency to fall asleep during meetings. Considering the amount of time he apparently spends during the night posting incoherent and vicious rants online, no wonder the man has trouble staying awake during the day.

When Trump has been criticized for playing golf while the world burns, my reaction has been to suggest that readers are all much better off when he is out of commission on the golf course than when he is acting as president (as opposed to presidential, obviously).

Let sleeping dogs lie, I say. Although the images of Trump with his eyes shut and his mouth hanging open may bring scorn, what’s the harm? Let him sleep all he wants through the rest of his presidency, or until the 25th Amendment finally kicks in, whichever comes sooner.
