Rep. Timothy Lang: State budget expands the New Hampshire Advantage

What do you call a budget that lives within our means and lowers taxes while expanding and defending our New Hampshire Advantage? A damn good win for the Granite State.

New Hampshire Republicans worked together to craft a transformational budget that lowered the level of government spending, reduced taxes across the board, increased educational opportunities, and provided real property tax relief. I was proud to support the budget and ecstatic it got through to the Governor’s desk and earned his signature.

We have a lot to be proud of but our work isn’t finished yet; we need to keep fighting for our Republican priorities and values so that the future of the Granite State can be even more prosperous and economically sound. We often hear politicians make their pitches each election time and make promises they can’t keep – in New Hampshire, Republicans rallied around our desire to lower taxes and expand the New Hampshire Advantage, and that’s exactly what we did.

New Hampshire Republicans produced a budget we can all be proud of.
