To The Daily Sun,
In regards to John King's Nov. 3 letter to the editor; since living in Moultonborough for 44 years, I do not know him, and it is obvious by his letter in the papers he does not know me. Normally I would not answer a political hateful letter from anyone, but I felt this needed a short response.
I do not wake up in the morning on session day and say “I do not feel like attending my legislative session today.” Things happen, life misfortunes, illnesses in family and self, and work — yes, I still have a job, I am not retired. Before belittling someone in the newspaper for political reasons, maybe contact them and ask the question “Why did you miss those votes?” Please note all votes were excused by the speaker and all were for legitimate reasons. I was honestly hoping that this race in Carroll County was going to be one without political banter, I guess I was wrong.
Rep. Karel Crawford
