Judith Rothemund: Why can't 'greatest country' provide N-95 masks for all?

Why in the "Greatest Country on Earth," as it is stated, are we not able to buy an appropriate mask that would protect us from the Covid-19 virus?

In America, we should be able to walk into Target, Walmart,  CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens or any drug store and walk out with as many N-95 masks as we need, even when there is a pandemic and they are in demand. We are the best right? Better than all the rest?

We have the best manufacturing capability right?

Why then, ask yourself, why you can’t buy an N-95 mask at any price? We had the alert in January that they were going to be needed.

It doesn’t matter if you are on chemotherapy, have a child with an immune disorder, you are old, you are compromised — it doesn’t matter. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BUY AN N-95 MASK.

We need to start demanding this.

The virus is not over We have a way to go and we need to live.

We need the N-95 masks now. N-95 is the only mask that protects you from the virus. We want to resume our lives and this is the only safe way.

Put pressure on legislators to get it done.
