To The Daily Sun,

Mark Twain once said, “No amount of evidence will persuade an idiot”. Our current executive branch of government is a case in point. The president's incompetence has out paced his arrogance. When a person has to say, “I know what the hell I’m doing”, 99% of the time, they don’t have a clue. There is a likely bond market sell off coming that is going to send us into a deep recession, and it’s 100% self inflicted. I guess Peter Navarro forgot to tell his boss that China owns $760 billion of U.S. government bonds. How can any business or individual plan a budget, when the goal line keeps moving? And where are all the Congressional Republicans with backbones? Apparently, all someone has to do is say the word primaries and they all scatter like mice. When the Democrats went too far with their very liberal agenda and spending plan in 2022, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema bucked their party and took a stand and had the guts to say no to President Joe Biden regarding the Build Back Better plan. They both realized that the average American did not want to pay more taxes so that others could go to college for free or have free universal day care. When are the moderates in the Republican Party going to have some courage and take a similar stand? Which is to say, put the country before party and have the guts to grab the wheel before this madman drives us all off the cliff. When things go wrong with the show at the circus, they send in the clowns to distract the audience, that would explain Elon Musk.
