To The Daily Sun,

On Christmas Eve, at the intersection of Pleasant and Main streets, members of the Laconia Rotary Club volunteered as "bell ringers" for the Laconia Salvation Army, a tradition they have kept up for over 50 years. Collectively, they raised $3409.18 in just one day of ringing. Salvation Army volunteers congratulated club members for raising the most amount of money in one day of ringing for this season’s holiday fundraising efforts. Laconia Rotary offers our gratitude to our Laconia Interact members who rang with us and to our friends Melissa Danforth, Brian Colp and his daughter, Stella, who also volunteered. To our incredibly generous community members, residents, and visitors, who donated during this season; thank you so much for giving back to our local community.

Jennifer Anderson

President, Rotary Club of Laconia
