Emily James: Voting Phoebe VanScoy-Giessler for state rep in District 6

Phoebe VanScoy-Giessler knows our community in Wolfeboro and Tuftonboro because she has been part of it for more than 20 years.

Phoebe is warm, caring, funny — and a problem-solver. She has taught and substituted in our schools, and when the schools needed help, she even stepped into a janitorial role and a food service role. Why? Because there was a job that needed doing, and Phoebe was willing to do it. Residents have probably seen her on stage in a Village Players production. Today, she works in marketing and development for the Barnstormers Theatre.

Phoebe knows us. More importantly, she will listen to us.

She understands how important strong public schools are to our children, teachers, and communities. She sees the affordability crisis affecting families throughout our area. And she knows that solving problems requires people willing to listen, collaborate, and work across the aisle.

Phoebe will bring a thoughtful, balanced, community-centered voice to Concord.

Let’s send someone who knows our community — and truly cares about it — to the Statehouse. Please vote for Phoebe VanScoy-Giessler for state representative in District 6.
