Connie Moulton: Judd would be mission-focused representative of citizens

The primary elections are fast approaching, and this election will decide the direction Laconia will take during the next two years. We need an even-tempered, mission-focused representative that believes the best years for Laconia are just around the corner.

I’ve known Ward 1 candidate Ron Judd almost my entire life both professionally and personally. His dedication to achieving results that are equitable to all citizens is a testament to both his character and resilience. The belief in always providing a hand-up to those in need through his various community charity events is exemplary as he also pushes for the best in those around him.

For far too long many in the city have allowed the handout philosophy to control the direction of the city with no accountability or progress made. The impacts of this philosophy affect all the citizens resulting in higher taxes, lowered public safety, failed Laconia owned real estate deals and a crumbling infrastructure.

In speaking with Ron, he has many ideas but is also intelligent enough to understand that this isn’t a one-person solution. It requires true collaboration between all the city departments, boards and council members to bring true solutions to the table.

Ron Judd is ready for this challenge and looks forward to serving the residents as we all look to the future. Please join me in voting for Ron to be the next Ward 1 city councilor on Sept. 9.
