Charles Ajootian: New Hampshire Libertarian Party vile statements, threats

With all due respect to Mr. Notkin (letter published March 24), Libertarians came here and twisted the New Hampshire state slogan into a justification for pointing their guns at us. They act like they are slave owners, entitled to use threats of violence to achieve their goals.

The NH Libertarian Party defines taxation as involuntary servitude yet hypocritically imposes involuntary servitude on the people of NH in the form of Education Freedom Accounts. The NHLP’s “perfectly permissible to kill” social media post in early March was meant to instill fear in the NH enslaved. It was one of the vilest statements ever made by a political party in the State of NH, equal to a 2024 post also from the NHLP calling for the assassination of Kamala Harris. Libertarians seem to enjoy trying to make people cower.

The NHLP acts like politics is not about the free exchange of ideas but something like a video shooting game. The New Hampshire Libertarian Party needs to apologize to the State of NH. The NHLP needs to make a sacred promise to never again issue a “permissible to kill” edict.
