Bruce Jenket: Real threat to democracy is Democrats who want to ban 1st, 2nd amendments

How were Nazis able to take over Germany in the 1930s? It was achieved using a corrupt police state and complicit media. The same tactic was used by Joseph Stalin in Russia and Mao Zedong in China. Is the USA next?

I have written letters for seven years, with links to reliable sources to debunk the fake news by MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. Kamala Harris/Tim Walz supporters ignore them like Germans ignored the Holocaust.

A recent contributor wrote in, calling for “a frequent conservative writer to be banned.” How many readers share that view? The irony is that those who do are the same people that “believe” Donald Trump is a threat to democracy.

The real threat to democracy is Democrats who want to ban our First Amendment, freedom of speech and our Second Amendment, the right to bear arms. These are the first two amendments for a reason. Governments can’t control the masses without controlling “perception” and disarming those that don’t go along. Look at China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, etc. It’s no coincidence, it’s a requirement.

Will this revelation affect anyone’s decision on who to vote for? Probably not, according to this article by Psychology Today “Why people ignore facts”: tinyurl.com/4zabznzw. Here is the opening paragraph:

“Our ability to reason did not develop simply to help us find the truth. Instead, reasoning evolved to fulfill fundamentally social functions, like cooperating in large groups and communicating with others.”

Democratic voters are not Nazis but they share their unethical values. They are the party of antisemitism, BLM, Antifa, abortion, defund the police, no bail for criminals, men in women’s sports, etc. Truth, integrity, love and compromise are not embraced by the Democratic oligarchy. Like in Germany, this will not end well. Vote Republican and save freedom before it’s too late.
