LACONIA — From the city: In spite of the hard work of Eversource and City departments, as of 12:30 pm today 50% of the City is still without power. Due to the uncertainty of power restoration to the City and our desire to make this Halloween a fun and safe event for our children and families, the City is taking what it feels is a prudent step in delaying Trick or Treating in Laconia by 24 hours. Trick or Treat will now occur on Wednesday, November 1 from 5 – 8 pm.
