The Greater Meredith Program’s annual Scarecrow Stroll is now underway, and on Oct. 2, plenty of participating businesses had displays up around town. The stroll features unique scarecrows pitted against one another to earn bragging rights through the votes of passersby for the People’s Choice Award. Ballots also give each voter the opportunity to win the Cauldron of Goodies. Other categories are Best Overall - Judge’s Choice, Scariest, Funniest and Best Business Representation. An interactive map online showcases each scarecrow display. For more, greatermeredith.org/scarecrow-stroll.
