TAMWORTH — Robert Wayne Guidi, lovingly known as “Bobbo,” passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2025, at the age of 54 in Tamworth, after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by his family, Bob left this world with love at his side.

Born in Laconia and raised in Meredith, Bobbo carried with him the strong roots of the Lakes Region throughout his life.

He is survived by his mother, Katherine; his children, Bob, Ty, Chris and Nick, with their spouses and families; his siblings, Rick, Tom, Angi and Tim; his Aunt Maggie, Uncle J, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by many beloved family members and was joyfully welcomed home by his grandparents and other dear relatives.

Bob worked for himself as a respected carpenter, painter and electrician, and most recently at J. Jill in Tilton. He had a gift for creating and repairing, turning wood into one-of-a-kind masterpieces and even designing a tow-behind bike rack with a swiveling trailer mount. His remarkable skill, grit, and tireless work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He found joy in the simple and demanding tasks of life — whether fixing what seemed beyond repair, spending time around a campfire, or sharing his warmth and love of family and nature. His determination and spirit will be remembered with love by everyone whose life he touched.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the Granite VNA Hospice program for honoring Bob’s wish to be at home comfortably.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Granite VNA Hospice, 780 N. Main St., Laconia, NH 03246.

Services will be announced privately.
