For a quarter of a century, the humble middle-class Griffin family of Quahog, Connecticut, has amused primetime and streaming audiences with their bizarre antics, which have included bizarre flashbacks and cut scenes, arbitrary pop culture references, random acts of violence, psychological torture, and, every now and then, the occasional hint of matricide. And for a quarter of a century, audiences have kept Family Guy a part of their Sunday night tradition. Well, mostly. Unless they have plans. Then, thanks to streaming, the Griffins become part of Sunday afternoons, or Monday evenings, or a massive binge-watch much later when there is simply nothing else to do.

Yes, Family Guy is returning for Season 25, which is confirmed to premiere on Fox in February 2026, with episodes available to stream on Hulu shortly after.
It will make a midseason return along with Bob’s Burgers, American Dad!, and Krapopolis.
And for those of you who can’t get enough of the Griffins, good news! Family Guy has been officially renewed by Fox through Season 27, ensuring its run through the 2028–2029 television season.
What do we know about Family Guy Season 25 so far?
As of this writing, not much is known about the upcoming milestone season of Family Guy, but fans can likely expect plenty of guest stars, callbacks to classic episodes, and the kind of outrageous humor that has kept the Griffin family on the air for more than two decades.
