FRANKLIN — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Suzann Berg Twombly of Franklin, who departed this life, returning to her heavenly Father, on June 3, 2026, at the age of 63. She passed at Concord Hospital, following a short battle with serious infections and health complications.
Born on Sept. 6, 1962, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Nephi Edward Berg and Ruth Nielsen Berg, she was a beautiful, happy and sweet baby, characteristics which she kept the remainder of her life. She was a New England girl throughout her childhood, growing up in Bedford, with a loving family consisting of her parents Ed and Ruth Berg and her three sisters, Linda, Michelle and Kim, as well as two brothers, Mark and Evan, all of whom she loved and cherished greatly.
After an idyllic childhood that involved some international travel and lots of time enjoyed on the lake, she graduated from West High School in Manchester, and went on to attend college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she got her associate’s degree in child development and family relations.
She was married to Brenton Mulliner on Dec. 26, 1981. They had four children, whom she loved with her whole heart, Jared, Nathan, Abbey and Same, before they were divorced in 1994. After living in Utah, California, Idaho and New Jersey, she finally returned to New Hampshire, where she found the true love of her life shortly thereafter, James Richard Twombly Jr. They lived happily ever after in Franklin, until her passing.
Suzann had a special soul, a sweet and adoring heart and deeply loved her husband and children and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved quilting, baking, and serving others, laughing and just being a kind person and the light to everyone around her. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life service will be held for her at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, at the Concord Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 90 Clinton St., Concord. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Smith Meeting House Cemetery in Gilmanton.
The Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, is assisting the family with arrangements.
