LACONIA — Priscilla Jane O’Hearn, 91, of Pendleton Beach Road, passed away on June 15, 2026.

Priscilla was born on Aug. 20, 1934, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late William A. Cooney and Helen V. (Collins) Cooney.

She was a devoted family member, loyal friend, and someone who embraced life with enthusiasm and gratitude.

A passionate sports fan, Priscilla rarely missed a game and found great joy in cheering for favorite teams and sharing the excitement of competition with family and friends. Whether watching from the stands, at home, or gathering with loved ones for a big game, sports brought her endless happiness.

Beyond sports, Priscilla loved being on the water. Boating provided a sense of peace and adventure, and many treasured moments were spent cruising lakes while enjoying nature's beauty. Traveling was another great passion. She delighted in exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and collecting stories from journeys near and far. She traveled with her husband Edward to Ireland, Hawaii, Alaska and many states out west.

Priscilla is survived by her sons Edward L. O’Hearn III and his wife Amy P., and Peter L. O’Hearn; daughter Suzanne M. O’Hearn; brother Dwight Cooney; grandchildren Emma F. O’Hearn and Lauren E. O’Hearn; nieces Bernadette, Michelle, Jennifer, Kelly and Kim; and nephews Mark, Michael, Michael and Kevin. In addition to her parents, Priscilla is predeceased by her husband Edward L. O’Hearn Jr., daughter Helen Mary Greene, brother Bill Cooney, and daughter-in-law Claire O’Hearn.
