Nancy Jean Cole, 65, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, on Jan. 22, 2026. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on Nov. 17, 1960, the daughter of James and Norma (Nelson) Cole.

Nancy was raised in Stoughton, Massachusetts, and had resided in New Hampshire for the past 30+ years. She was most recently employed at The Bridge House in Plymouth, as a house supervisor.

Nancy loved her family immensely and had a deep affection for her canine fur babies. She enjoyed antiques and collectibles as well as cooking and baking, whether it was for 50 people or two. She was very giving and generous to her family and friends, especially to her niece, nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom she adored.

Known for her infectious laughter, unique humor and a profound impact through her work and community involvement. Nancy brought light and love to everyone she met. She lived a life full of passion and will be deeply missed by all. She was also a member of the Dupuis Cross Post #15 Auxiliary, Ashland.

She was predeceased by her father James A. Cole Sr.

She is survived by her mother, Norma E. Cole, of Meredith, her sisters Nora A. Cole of Foxboro, Massachusetts, Donna M. (Cole) Locurto of Ashland, her brothers James A. Cole Jr. and wife Deborah of Nevada, Texas, Michael J. Cole and wife Theresa of Salem, and James M. Cole and wife Jessica of Goffstown.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Holy Trinity Parish, St. Matthew Church, 11 School St. in Plymouth, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, with a reception to follow the service at St. Matthew Church Hall, everyone is invited.
