GILFORD — Nancy Elizabeth (Swain) Jorgensen, 66, of Hillside Drive, passed away on June 3, 2024 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Nancy was born on Oct. 3, 1957, in Laconia, the daughter of Richard “Dick” Bert Swain and Gloria Arlene (Wilson) Swain.
Nancy lived for her family and spending time with them. Married for 45 years to the love of her life, Steve, she lit up when they were together. Her three daughters Angie, Kallie and Amy were her world. A day didn’t go by where her love wasn’t felt by them. She also adored being a grandmother to her granddaughter Mabel, who lovingly named her “Pretty.” Nancy enjoyed spending time in her beautiful homes in Gilford, and Florida, where she lived a life filled with love and laughter with family and friends, old and new. Whether it was camping, throwing parties, hatching monarch butterflies or just enjoying the quiet moments, Nancy spread love and joy to all who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her husband Steven Jorgensen; daughters Angie Jorgensen, Kallie Jorgensen, and Amy Jorgensen; and granddaughter Mabel Hadley. She is predeceased by her father Richard Swain; and mother-in-law Marilyn Jorgensen.
