LACONIA — Lucille J. (Valliere) LaPierre, 94, of North Main Street, passed peacefully at her home on Sept. 8, 2026.
Lucille was born on May 17, 1932, in Laconia, the daughter of the late Sherman and Yvonne Jenot. She was a devoted wife and married for 65 years to her only love, her late husband Robert N. LaPierre.
Lucille was a beautiful soul and touched the lives of many. She was a child of God and devoted herself to the church and most importantly her family.
She loved playing bingo whether it be at a gathering, at a hall, or even just at home. In her younger days she worked at Laconia Hospital doing laundry and at St. Francis Home. She loved to crochet, walk downtown, and walk every morning to the local SPA to get her daily newspaper. Lucille loved to share stories of her past with anyone who would listen to her. She would try to bribe anyone she thought she could swing over into giving her sweet treats so she could have them after each meal and throughout the day. Lucille was a loving mother, devoted wife, and an amazing Nana.
Lucille is survived by six daughters: Linda Giuliano, Christine MacGregor, Yvonne Ellsworth, Elizabeth Dollof and partner Stuart Schuster, Brenda Sayler, Darlene Roy and husband Brian Roy. She is also blessed to being the Nana of 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to Lucille's parents and husband, she is predeceased by her son, Robert S. LaPierre, and grandson Robert J. LaPierre.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the St. Andre Bessette Parish — Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave.
A graveside service will follow the Mass in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street.
