Janet S. Price of Meredith passed away Feb. 24, 2024.
She was born in Burlington, Vermont, to Darce Lewis and Francis Badore Lewis, both deceased.
Out of high school, Janet pursued a career with AT&T phone company. After 40-plus years, she retired from Verizon phone company.
In her free time, she loved to knit, sew and make award-winning quilts. She loved her time spent at her home away from home, in Florida.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph B. Price of Meredith; her son Joseph M. Price of Meredith; sister Darcelene Lewis Wedge of Hinesburg, Vermont; brother David Lewis of Ripton, Vermont; plus many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 1, at Mayhew Funeral Home, Route 3 and Cataldo Road, Meredith.
