Carl L. Stockbridge Jr., aged 83, passed away on Nov. 23, 2024, at the Granite State VNA in Concord. Born on July 12, 1941, Carl was known for being an honest, hardworking man who devoted himself to his family and friends.
Carl spent his childhood and educational years in Belmont, where he attended both primary and high school. Following his education, Carl built a steadfast career as a machinist and machine operator. Over the years, he worked in various capacities at Malleable Iron, Baron Machine and Aavid Thermo, contributing significantly to each establishment.
Outside of his professional life, Carl was passionate about working on cars and motorcycles, watching NASCAR, and spending quality time with his family, which was his greatest joy.
Carl's legacy is carried on by his extensive family. He is survived by his sons, Carl Stockbridge III and his wife Joanna, their children Breanna and Brandon, and Jason Stockbridge and his sons, Ryson and Riley. He also leaves behind his siblings Marie Ostiguy (Roger), Judy Dagen (Neil), Sharon Elliott (Larry), Jeannie Hueber (Roland), Lois Hawkins, Diane Lake, Oline Stinson, Charlie Lake (Anita), Pam Lake, Mark Stockbridge (Laurie), Holly Stockbridge, Michael Stockbridge, and Matthew Stockbridge (Connie).
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl L. Stockbridge and Eleanor Stockbridge, his beloved wife of 39 years, Sandra F. Stockbridge, and his sisters Ellie Gallucci and Linda Ford.
In accordance with his wishes, Carl's remains have been entrusted to the Cremation Society. At this time, there are no calling hours scheduled. A gathering for his celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
Carl Stockbridge Jr. will be remembered as a great husband, father and friend. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
