BRISTOL — Tapply-Thompson Community Center thanks everyone who joined them for their Community Visioning Charrette on June 16 at the future TTCC site at 90 Lake St. There were around 35 community members who attended and shared valuable feedback on the early concept designs for the property.
As TTCC continues exploring this exciting opportunity, they want to be clear: TTCC’s current building is not going away. The current Main Street location will remain an important part of their programming and operations, with many programs continuing there including music, dance, portions of after school and summer camp, Santa’s Village, office space, and more.
The 90 Lake St. project is about expanding opportunities and creating additional space to better serve their community. If patrons couldn’t attend, or if there are more ideas to share, the TTCC invites the community to complete their online input survey. The survey includes the preliminary concept designs and gives the community their opportunity to share their thoughts on what they like, what concerns they have, and what they’d like to see considered as TTCC plans for the future.
The survey link is tinyurl.com/TTCCSurvey and is open through July 18.
To ensure all feedback is collected and reviewed as part of the planning process, input must be submitted through this survey. Comments on Facebook or through other methods will not be included in the official feedback summary.
TTCC will be sharing their progress and preliminary designs at Bristol Old Home Day on Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the TTCC table.
