TILTON — Artist Acacia Rogers will be teaching a six-week fine art drawing course at the Lakes Region Art Association Gallery, 120 Laconia Road, Suite 300, at Tanger Outlets beginning Thursday, Jan. 20, 5-8 p.m.
Additional dates are Thursdays, Jan. 27, and Feb. 3, 10, 17, and 24.
The beginner-friendly class will cover in detail the principles and techniques of drawing what is seen accurately, with depth and realism. The class with include the use of various media and practices to draw from both life and photography. Covering various subjects from still life to anatomy, Rogers will teach the importance of drawing skills, how to hold drawing tools, how to use different materials, proportion and shading, with plenty of one on one guidance, demonstrations, and critique.
