SANDWICH — Sandwich Central School has been chosen to receive a Special Recognition Award from the NH Elementary School of Excellence Committee. This honor reflects the outstanding educational quality and nurturing atmosphere that Sandwich Central School provides to its students.Â
During the process, the committee carefully reviewed many schools throughout the state. Sandwich Central School stood out due to its strong commitment to personalized learning approaches and active community engagement. These factors played a significant role in the committee’s decision to recognize the school’s achievements.Â
The EDies team was particularly impressed by how well Sandwich Central School promotes both academic progress and personal growth among its students. The dedication of the Principal Jeremy Hillger combined with the tireless efforts of all teachers, staff members and families, has resulted in a truly remarkable learning community for their students.Â
To celebrate this accomplishment, Sandwich Central School will be formally recognized at the 2025 New Hampshire Excellence in Education Awards dinner and awards ceremony on June 7 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester.Â
