Sean Michael Riberdy, 57, of Northfield, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 1, 2026.
Born in Franklin, he was a lifelong resident of the region, attending Franklin schools and graduating from Franklin High School in 1986.
Sean was preceded in death by his first grandson, Jacob Logan, and dear friends John Bastis and Kevin Waltos.
He is survived by his daughter Michelle, son Eric, grandson Jeremiah Logan, all of Forest City, North Carolina; parents Richard and Bonnie of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; brothers Patrick (Ryann) of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Christopher (Nicole) of Chesapeake, Virginia; sister Jennifer (Craig) Bozek of Ashland; as well as his closest nephew Jordan Riberdy and closest friend John George, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends too numerous to count.
Sean never met a stranger and he will truly be missed by all.
A celebration of Sean's life is being planned for a later date.
